The facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular services across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings with established protocols to support quality cardiac care. The institution offers integrated care delivery systems that enable seamless patient management between hospital and clinic environments. About the Facility Location This area offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities including zip line tours, ATV adventures, and rafting experiences in the New River Gorge National Park, along with hiking, biking, fishing, and golf at The Greenbrier courses. Visitors can explore underground formations at Lost World Caverns and learn about local history at the North House Museum, which dates to 1820. The region features a state professional theatre that presents musical and literary performances throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday The cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in the clinic setting with 24-hour call coverage including nights and weekends. Daily responsibilities include managing general cardiology cases with required proficiency in EKG interpretation, nuclear studies, stress tests, echocardiograms, and TEEs. The position requires board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and prescriptive authority for effective patient management across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic environments during assigned coverage periods.
