Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

What Your Day Looks Like

A

with an active patient schedule
Collaboration with multiple dentists and clinical team members
A diverse patient population with varying preventive and periodontal needs
Coordination with providers to support timely exams and treatment planning
Strong emphasis on organization, efficiency, and clinical communication

What You'll Do

Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Conduct comprehensive periodontal charting and assessments
Take diagnostic radiographs as needed
Provide individualized patient education and oral hygiene instruction
Identify and communicate periodontal and restorative treatment needs
Coordinate efficiently with multiple dentists and dental assistants
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Manage patient appointments effectively while maintaining high standards of care
Support a collaborative clinical environment and positive patient experience
What We're Looking For

Active New York State Registered Dental Hygienist license
Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to

work efficiently and stay organized in a busy, multi-provider environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Confidence managing an active patient schedule
Adaptability, professionalism, and attention to detail
Previous experience in a high-volume dental practice preferred

What You'll Do

Support comprehensive patient care through collaboration with dentists and team members
Promote preventive dentistry and long-term oral health
Requirements
Active Dental Hygiene License in New York
Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state)
Laser Certification
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Strong communication and patient education skills
Commitment to quality patient care
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred
Experience with assisted hygiene models
Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
Experience with periodontal therapy
Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance
Bilingual skills
