Job Summary:

Preferred Care MI is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager to lead our team of healthcare professionals in Bay City, Michigan. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and supervise a team of registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate unit goals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
• Mentor and coach staff members to improve clinical skills, communication, and teamwork
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and effective care coordination
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety committees to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient documentation, unit statistics, and staff performance evaluations

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan
• Proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
