Job Description:

LEAD Staffing is currently seeking experienced sheet metal mechanics for projects in Lutz, Seffner, & Valrico. We have a project that is going to start May 18th and also have projects starting on June 1st.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for sheet metal duct work.
• Must be able to pass a drug test onsite before orientation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities:

• Hanging/Installing/Fabricating Sheet Metal Duct.
• Installation of Straps/hangers.
• hanging duct work.
• Experience in selective demo of equipment to allow for new equipment to go in and be ducted back in place, installing new duct work into existing runs where equipment has been replaced, running out flex duct for drops and connecting air devices.
• VAV’s, curbs, etc.
• Collaborate with team members and other construction professionals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
