Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Wilson, NC at a skilled nursing facility. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted North Carolina Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• New graduates welcome. Clinical experience with geriatric populations preferred.
• Ability to conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with therapeutic modalities commonly used in skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and family education.

Impacting Patient Care

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to optimize care. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs. Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation. Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
