Registered Nurse Medical

Schedule: Nights

Assignment Details: Every other weekend, every other holiday

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois
Current CPR/BLS Card
ACLS certification
NIHSS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population, primarily stroke patients, post-operative patients, and comfort care or hospice patients
Manage complex medical needs including heparin drips, wound care, and care for altered mental status patients
Monitor and assess patients for signs of acute kidney injury, dialysis needs, and COPD exacerbations
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care delivery
