Eleven Recruiting is hiring a Billing Supervisor to join one of our largest legal clients in Downtown, Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the day-to-day billing operations for assigned attorneys and clients within a fast-paced law firm environment.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including running monthly proformas, billing attorney reports, data warehouse reports, and additional ad hoc reporting as requested.
- Coordinate the setup, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing updates of electronic billing processes in accordance with client requirements and guidelines.
- Manage the full eBilling cycle from initiation through submission, including monitoring invoice status, resolving submission issues, and ensuring timely completion of monthly billing deadlines.
- Handle new client and matter billing setup, ensuring accuracy of billing arrangements, rates, and client-specific requirements.
- Review, troubleshoot, and resolve eBilling rejections, appeals, and billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain billing databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date client, matter, and billing information.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, legal assistants, Billing Specialists, management, and client contacts to resolve billing questions and issues.
- Assist with allocating and managing Billing team resources to ensure internal and external requests are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Maintain and monitor client billing guidelines, ensuring compliance and communicating updates and requirements to attorneys and staff.
- Prepare and analyze billing reports and provide recommendations to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and collections performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to billing operations, reporting, and eBilling processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant billing experience.
- 5+ years of legal billing experience, including strong exposure to law firm billing operations and eBilling platforms.
- Prior supervisory or lead billing experience preferred; open to experienced Senior Billers with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex billing issues.
- Extensive experience with electronic billing systems and client billing guideline compliance.
- Proficiency with Elite 3E Enterprise and eBilling Hub required.
- Experience with Collaborati, Serengeti, DataCert (ShareDoc), and CounselLink preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, staff, management, and clients.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
