Human Resources Information Systems ManagerThe American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA offers a flexible hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days working remotely.Responsible for the effective development, administration, optimization, and integrity of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Human Resources information systems, including Workday. Applies a broad understanding of HR functions and operations to translate business needs into system solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making. Bridging Human Resources and technology, translates HR business needs into scalable system solutions that support workforce administration, talent management, compensation, benefits, payroll, reporting and employee experience initiatives. Collaborates with HR, payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to maintain data integrity, improve HR processes and system functionality, troubleshoot issues, support reporting and analytics, and enhance the employee and manager experience through reliable, efficient, and user-friendly HR systems and processes.Essential FunctionsPartners with HR colleagues to understand operational requirements and ensure system processes support organizational policies, processes and regulatory requirements. Applies knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee records, performance management, learning, compensation, benefits, payroll and/or workforce reporting to recommend and configure system improvements.Identifies opportunities for workflow improvements in HR and oversee system implementation projects. Collaborates with HR team members and colleagues across the association to develop and optimize system effectiveness.Provides system training to help guide end users on current processes and any new functionality. Creates and maintains training materials, procedures, guidelines and workflow documents for all HR systems as applicable.Manages and tests system upgrades and enhancements, configuration changes, reports, and integrations ensuring both process and system requirements are fully identified, evaluated, tested and implemented.Identifies and troubleshoots system issues and works with both internal and external resources to bring to resolution.Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Payroll, Information Technology and other stakeholders for systems design, daily functional support and other HR and business projects.Creates and delivers custom reports, dashboards and data analytics to meet the requirements of management and staff and to drive informed decision-making.Ensures the integrity of all employee data is maintained for compliance, recordkeeping, and reporting while safeguarding data security and privacy.Ensures continuous learning on new system enhancements and functionality. Proactively communicates with those applicable on any system updates.
