Our structured cabling work spans data centers, large campus environments, DAS, sound masking, and wireless, and we do full design/build, taking projects from concept through deployment rather than pure install-only work. You'll work alongside a Lead Technician, learning the fiber and copper mix (roughly 50/50) and building toward more ownership over time. Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test structured cabling (fiber and copper) under the direction of a Lead Technician Support crew logistics — materials, staging, and site setup Work across data center, campus, and commercial cabling projects Assist with testing and certification of completed work Learn and build toward leading projects and crews over time Requirements 2+ years of structured cabling or low voltage experience Solid hands-on termination and installation skills, fiber and/or copper Willing to learn and take direction from a Lead Technician Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screen Certifications a plus but not required — training provided Schedule & Location Typical hours 8-5pm, occasionally as early as 7am depending on the project Rare nights or on-call Occasional weekend work tied to customer schedules (roughly 10 weekends/year) Local to the Raleigh area, with some travel as needed Interested in hearing more?
