This role will repair, maintain, troubleshoot and install various equipment and components of an automated processing facility.Minimum job requirements include knowledge of several of the following areas:Preventative maintenance proceduresBoilersAir compressorsWelding and PipingHydraulics and pneumaticsElectrical circuitry and PLC' sElectro/mechanical utility and electrical trouble shooting General equipment and building maintenance.Experience with air cylinders, solenoid valves, steam traps, motor starters, gear reducers, inverter drives, or industrial laundry equipment is a plus.BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to:Perform well-defined preventative maintenance programs. Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and support existing engineering teams or assist in other areas and/or departments as neededMaintain safety and cleanliness standards Troubleshoots sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems equipment and component devices in the operation. Uses precision measuring and testing instruments. Assists other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairsInspects motors and belts, check fluid levels, replaces filters, and performs other maintenance actions while following maintenance procedurePerforms various welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.Troubleshoots and repairs Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems.Performs boiler chemical testing.Preforms daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and makes necessary repairsPerforms wastewater pretreatment system testingCleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of location equipment per work procedures or technical manualInspects motors and belts, check fluid levels, replaces filters, and perform other maintenance actions while following maintenance records QUALIFICATIONSAbility to read and understand maintenance literature printed in EnglishHigh school diploma/GEDGeneral Knowledge and skills which represent a good mechanical backgroundMust be able to work a flexible schedule Must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Basic computer skillsAbility to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shiftMaintenance knowledge - sufficient formal or informal training to perform the duties of this positionAny combination of general maintenance, building maintenance, equipment maintenance, automotive maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical, and military experience is acceptableExperience with formalized safety programs preferred, such as Lock Out/Tag Out, confined space, OSHA awareness, Technical School Courses or Ladder SafetyMinimum of at least 2 years of successful maintenance experience BENEFITSStarting pay depending on experience and skill level $61,360 - $70,200Group benefits package (Medical, Dental, Short-term Disability, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401k with generous company match) Paid VacationCOMPANY DESCRIPTIONCapital Textile Service, Inc. is a linen rental supply and commercial laundry company.
