Outpatient Registered Dietitian

Job Description Under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services, the Outpatient Registered Dietitian performs professional duties by providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and medical nutrition counseling to primary care patients of Valle del Sol in the outpatient setting. The Registered Dietitian also plans and implements one-on-one diabetes education sessions and group classes. Qualifications Arizona State license to practice as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or credentialed as an RD/RDN within 6 months of hire for exam‑eligible candidates. Strong initiative, creativity, problem‑solving ability, adaptability, flexibility, and multitasking skills. Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care. Ability to execute conflict resolution. Ability to develop routine reports and correspondence. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills. Knowledge of MS Windows 365 environment and/or Electronic Health Records Systems. Ability to provide culturally sensitive services. Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain). Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance. Basic Life Support trained or ability to be trained within 10 business days from hire date. Tuberculosis screening record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest X‑ray upon hire (as applicable). Vaccinations/Titer test/declination form: Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella. Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (cannot sponsor visa).
