Overview Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Senior Care Therapy, Southampton, New York, United States. Provides in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living settings. Senior Care Therapy is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Clinical Social Workers to join our mission of delivering clinical care with a focus on patient mood, functioning, and quality of life. We serve facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD and handle administrative responsibilities including billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications to allow clinicians to focus on care. What We Provide Customizable Part-time or Full-Time opportunities aligned with personal and professional goals 32-hour and 40-hour equivalent work weeks Salary ranges from $56,000–$85,000 with uncapped fee-for-service (FFS) bonus opportunity Part-Time: Fee-for-Service opportunities Rewarding experience working with the senior population Flexible daytime hours with autonomy EHR Your Way: efficient, clinician-designed EMR SCT University CEU reimbursement program Psychologist-led training on day one with ongoing support Clinical team support: peer-to-peer learning Cutting-edge resources and mentorship to support growth Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and ancillary benefits (Full-Time) 401(k) plan with up to 3% company match (Day 1 for PT and FT) Malpractice insurance provided PTO and holidays (Full-Time) Key Responsibilities Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in subacute or skilled nursing facilities Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of emotional and behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline) Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using an electronic medical/health records system Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Requirements Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state applying for Effective oral and written communication in English Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR) Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities Preferred Qualifications Previous clinical experience in subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare settings History of treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders Psych or addictions experience is a plus Excellent time management and organizational skills SCT welcomes individuals with a variety of licensure types to join our team.
