About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide locum coverage in a high-volume vascular surgery hospital setting. The role involves 4 ten-hour days per week (alternatively 5 eight-hour shifts) supporting vascular surgery consults, patient rounds, and, if qualified, assisting in the operating room. You will work alongside residents and nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to adult patients.

Practice Highlights:

• Hospital size: 596 beds
• Patient population: adults (18+)
• EMR system: EPIC
• Department focus: inpatient rounding, consultations, and operative assistance as needed

Requirements

• Certified PA or NP
• Valid PA license
• DEA registration required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary coverage available with a clean file)
