Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Pennsylvania licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a locum tenens assignment at a busy regional hospital in York, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing anesthesia services in a well-equipped, Level I Trauma designated facility with a diverse surgical case load.

• Coverage: Full-time, 4-5 days per week, 10-hour shifts (no overtime)
• EMR: Epic
• Bed Size: 593 beds
• Special Procedures: Trauma, Neuro & Spine, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular & APS, NORA, OB/GYN, General Surgery, GI, Peds, Plastics, Orthopedics, Robotics
• Model: Medically Directed, 1:3 (max 1:4) patient ratio
• Patient Population: All ages with varied case complexity

Schedule Details

• Shift: Varies according to daily assignment
• Typical shifts: 6:15 AM - 4:45 PM, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Days: Monday through Friday

Clinical Scope

• Administering anesthesia in diverse surgical and procedural contexts
• Performing GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal, and US-guided techniques
• Performing epidurals without doctor present
• Monitoring and managing patients across all ages and complex cases including trauma, neuro, cardiac, and plastics
• Documenting care within Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board Certification: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Pennsylvania license
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years anesthesia experience preferred
• Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days (expedited options with leadership approval and a clean file)

• Experience performing regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided techniques
