Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific goals and conditions.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and treatments, utilizing a variety of techniques in areas like orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Engage with patients and their families through education on therapeutic procedures and lifestyle modifications necessary for recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow clinicians and support staff to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Document all treatment plans, progress notes, and patient outcomes to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization and performance metrics to support the overall business goals and sustainability of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in New York.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with electronic documentation and patient management systems.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
