Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, establishing individual treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based rehabilitation techniques while monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment protocols as necessary.
• Provide care across various specialties such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, ensuring that each patient receives tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Offer support and education to patients and their caregivers, facilitating understanding of treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes to streamline care coordination.
• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and drive the overall effectiveness of our rehabilitation services.
• Achieve and exceed minimum utilization goals and other business performance objectives, contributing to the growth of our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, and children with developmental challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients of all ages regain function, enhance mobility, and ultimately improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills essential for patient interactions and documentation.
• Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with word processing software and electronic health record systems.
• A passion for building genuine relationships with patients, fostering trust and support throughout their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is a plus, particularly in specialties such as orthopedic or sports medicine.
• Demonstrated capability to leverage research-driven approaches to patient care, ensuring best practices are followed.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
