Journeyman Plumber

Warne Plumbing and Heating, LLC is currently seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join our company. We are committed to providing excellent service in commercial, industrial, and residential plumbing and heating. Candidate should possess mechanical knowledge and skills, the ability to work in multiple environments, and be dependable and organized. The Journeyman Plumber assembles, installs, or repairs pipes, fittings, or fixtures, of domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, heating, and other piping systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. The Journeyman Plumber is also responsible for delivering high quality work and productivity. Responsibilities may include Complete all work in accordance with federal, state, and local codes Prepare, fabricate, and install plumbing and piping systems Read and understand blueprints Repair and install various pipes including iron, steel, copper, PVC, and cast iron Determine the proper tools and equipment necessary for job completion Operate power tools and equipment Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order Other duties as assigned Requirements and skills Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program (Preferred) Journeyman Plumber license/certification (Required within 120 days of employment) Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety procedures (Preferred) Strong mechanical skills (Preferred)Ability to learn and operate various power tools and heavy equipment (Required) Able to legally work in the United States (Required) Valid driver’s license (Required) Ability to follow instructions (Required) Ability to work independently and as a team (Required) Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting between 75 – 100 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing, and working in confined spaces among other manual labor duties as assigned (Required) This is a full-time position with additional hours as needed.
