Planning Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW: LESET is seeking a Planning Manager to partner closely with our Director of Merchandising & Planning as we continue to grow across ecommerce, retail, and wholesale channels. This role is ideal for someone who is equally energized by strategy and hands-on execution and is excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing business. The Planning Manager will play a critical role in forecasting demand, managing inventory investments, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring product is in the right place at the right time. Working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Design, Production, Retail, Operations, and Finance, this individual will help drive decisions that impact the business at every stage—from seasonal fabric commitments and inventory planning to core business forecasting and store replenishment. They will serve as a key thought partner in helping LESET build a more scalable and data-informed planning function while also overseeing the day-to-day execution required to bring those plans to life. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: CORE BUSINESS & RECUT STRATEGY Forecast and manage LESET's core business across key carryover and evergreen styles through an omni channel lense Develop recut projections and recommendations based on sales trends, inventory levels, demand forecasts, and business needs. Identify opportunities and risks within the core assortment and proactively recommend actions. Partner with Production and Development teams to support timely execution of recut opportunities. Monitor inventory productivity and help drive inventory investments that support long-term growth. RETAIL PLANNING & STORE REPLENISHMENT Manage inventory planning and replenishment across all retail locations. Develop allocation strategies that support sales productivity while maintaining healthy inventory levels. Monitor store performance, inventory health, and sell-through by location. Recommend inventory transfers and balancing actions across retail and ecommerce channels. Partner closely with Retail leadership to support store growth and evolving inventory needs. Conduct sizing analysis as well as own and present the sized seasonal buy by location to the Director of Merchandising & Planning SEASONAL FABRIC & INVENTORY PLANNING Partner with Production, Development and Merchandising teams to forecast seasonal fabric needs through demand forecasting, scenario planning, and inventory analysis Monitor fabric utilization and identify opportunities and risks throughout the season. Help ensure inventory and fabric investments align with sales projections, margin goals, and business objectives. BUSINESS PLANNING & FORECASTING Develop and maintain seasonal, monthly, and annual DTC topline sales, inventory, and margin forecasts Analyze business performance across channels, categories and seasons to proactively identify opportunities and risks Owning total company ATS forecast Deliver weekly, monthly, and seasonal omni-channel reporting with clear recommendations and actionable insights. Partner with Merchandising, Finance, Retail, and Operations teams to support strategic decision-making. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, and planning processes. Leverage dashboards, reporting tools, and emerging technologies to improve visibility and decision-making. Help build scalable planning tools and workflows to support future growth. Support the development of inventory management and replenishment best practices across the organization. QUALIFICATIONS 4–8+ years of planning, inventory management, or merchandise planning experience within apparel, fashion, or retail. Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, replenishment, and allocation. Experience working across ecommerce, retail, and wholesale channels preferred. Advanced Excel and analytical skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on entrepreneurial environment. Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
