Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their specific functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Employ evidence-based methods to enrich clients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with fellow occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, medical doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide valuable insights and instruction to patients and their families on therapy practices that can be continued at home.
• Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment: Keep a close eye on clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
