Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an adult acute care unit serving patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions
• Deliver nursing care on both the acute care side (1:3 ratio) and the behavioral health side (1:4 ratio) of the unit as assigned
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs as required
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Be prepared to participate in emergency response activities during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are accepted)
• Familiarity with acute care environments within a Level I Trauma Center or Magnet-designated facility
