Pharmacy TechnicianMake a Difference in Pediatric CareJoin Children's Wisconsin and help ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery for pediatric patients. Working under the supervision of a pharmacist, you'll support inpatient pharmacy operations through medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy technology support.ScheduleLooking for extended time off? This position offers a 7-on/7-off midshift schedule, working 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM for one week, followed by a full week off. Rotations start on Wednesday and end the following Tuesday.What You'll DoPrepare, package, label, and deliver medications.Compound sterile products using aseptic technique and USP 797 standards.Process patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.Manage medication inventory, including stocking, ordering, and expiration monitoring.Handle controlled substances and assist with discrepancy resolution.Support automated dispensing cabinets and other pharmacy technologies.Answer calls and assist patients, families, nurses, and healthcare providers.Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment.QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or HSED requiredPharmacy Technician training program preferred1+ year of pharmacy or healthcare experience preferredWisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration required prior to startingWhy Children's Wisconsin?Meaningful work supporting pediatric patients and familiesCollaborative team environmentOpportunities for growth and developmentState-of-the-art pharmacy technology and practicesChildren's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
