Requirements

• Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Valid Registered Dental Assistant license.
Radiation Health & Safety Certification in compliance with state regulations.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (preferred).
Knowledge of OSHA standards and state healthcare regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and dentists.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation, legible handwriting preferred; computer skills a plus.

Job Description

Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring instruments are sterilized, stocked, and operatory areas are clean.
Assist the dentist during clinical procedures by anticipating needs and providing support.
Manage patient comfort by seating patients properly and ensuring they are never unattended in the chair.
Escort patients to and from treatment areas.
Accurately document procedures performed and schedule follow-ups in patient charts.
Participate actively in staff meetings, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Assist with other office duties as needed to support practice efficiency.

Shift & Schedule

Monday to Friday.
8-hour shifts.
Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Weekend and holiday closure.
