Our employees enjoy medical and dental coverage, 401(k) savings plan, life insurance protection, sickness and accident income protection, a generous vacation and holiday program, tuition reimbursement program, and a program that allows you to use tax-free dollars to pay for many health care and dependent care expenses./ppWith minimum supervision, the Sr. Repair Station Technician interprets Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics and engineering specifications and using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications, builds, tests and repairs/overhauls a variety of aircraft components and sub-assemblies./ph2Essential Responsibilities/h2ulliPositions and assembles parts according to special instructions, routings and blueprints/liliMeasures parts to specified tolerances/liliDeburrs, grinds and buffs parts/liliRecords time on labor sheets for each process of repaired/liliInspects all parts for cleanliness and flaws/liliSends repaired products to test or to quality assurance final inspection/liliRepairs nonconforming products/liliCleans, assembles, disassembles and replaces parts as required/liliOperates drill press, arbor press, press taker, pneumatic tools and hand tools to aid in assembly/liliUses chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints and inks, as required/liliKeeps repairs department clean and free of foreign object damage/liliReturns all unused parts to stock/liliUses equipment such as molding press, arbor press, grinder, soldering iron, belt sander, drill press, magnifying glass (microscope), ohm meter, epoxy machine, ovens, sonic machine, test rigs, fixtures and gauges, and hydraulic press/liliKeeps repair Supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments/li/ulh2Position Requirements/h2ulliMust have experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment./lili5+ years electro-mechanical assembly experience/liliMust be able to pass FAA Drug and Alcohol test/liliMust be familiar with FAA CFRs, EASA part 145 and AS9100 Regulations./liliMust be able to read and interpret CMMs, blueprints, drawings, schematics and specifications./liliMust have working knowledge of basic shop math and be able to complete basic electrical formulas./liliMust be able to accurately and efficiently use a variety of assembly hand tools and precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers and dial indicators./liliMust be knowledgeable in the use of MRP computer systems./liliAirframe Power Plant Certificate a plus, but not required./liliAssociates Degree a plus, but not required./li/ulpSafety is a core value at ITT.
