Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A clinical pharmacist role is available within a specialty pharmacy focused on infusions and complex therapies in the Germantown, TN area. This position offers a contract to hire opportunity, beginning as soon as possible, with weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key responsibilities include comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, and other illnesses requiring infused medications. The pharmacist will apply therapy-specific expertise managing factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusion treatments for chronic diseases. Patient education is critical, involving guidance on drug administration, side effect management, adherence, and safe medication handling at home.

Collaborative coordination with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators is expected to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, working alongside reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance authorizations and financial assistance programs forms an important part of the role. The pharmacy uses Caretend software; prior experience with this system is highly preferred, although training can be provided.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Experience with Caretend software highly preferred
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if necessary
• Strong clinical knowledge of infusion therapies and related medications
• Effective communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
