Job Title: Production Operator-Industrial

Location : ST ALBANS, VT

Duration : 12 Months

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Summary:

Be a key member of the manufacturing team performing front-line production processes.
Operate machinery and equipment, and package the final product.
Gain skills and experience in taking raw materials to produce final products for customers.
Join a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

Comply with all safety processes and insist on safety practices for self and others.
Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
Multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during the production process.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
Collaborate and follow the instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older.
Minimum 1 year of work experience in any industry.
Basic computer and math skills.
Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and always respectful.
Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Work in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present.
Able to wear company-issued PPE and follow safety standards.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
