World’s largest consortium of security system integrators is looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Account Executive to join their exciting company and team
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Account Executive will work closely with the Outside Sales Representative by supporting our members with product sourcing, connecting members with our technology partners, assisting with pricing inquiries, and identifying opportunities to increase member participation in our partnership programs. This role provides a potential development path into Territory Sales.
The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple member requests in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Support territory by assisting our members with product sourcing, pricing inquiries & vendor connections
• Qualify inbound member requests and coordinate opportunities to appropriate vendor partners
• Coordinate with the Outside Sales Representative to support territory sales initiatives
• Maintain accurate opportunity and member engagement activity within the CRM system
• Conduct outbound engagement with members to promote our technology partners and programs
• Facilitate vendor product demonstrations and educational sessions for members
• Identify opportunities to increase member utilization of our vendor partners
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure members receive timely service and support
• Proactively engage members to identify opportunities to increase utilization of our vendors and programs
• Develop working knowledge of company vendor technologies & programs to effectively support member needs
• Participate in company events, member meetings and sales initiatives
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
• 2-4 years inside sales, account management or channel sales experience
• Experience in the electronic security space a plus
• Strong phone and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities at one time
• Experience working with CRM systems, especially NetSuite
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Superior customer focus.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and plan workload effectively.
• Ability to learn quickly and perform under deadlines.
• Must work well in a team environment and/or with little supervision.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Travel:
· Travel to select events/meetings several times per year.
