VP of People

To support a growing public, remote-first company, the full-time VP of People will design and implement systems that enhance employee engagement, culture, and communication while managing a small HR Operations and strategic HRBP team. Key responsibilities Designing and implementing engagement and retention strategies that align with company goals Creating effective communication rhythms to ensure clarity of company strategy across all geographies Building a learning organization by redefining manager capabilities for distributed teams Required qualifications Experience managing teams outside the United States and understanding international employment realities Proven track record of scaling a company through the 500-1000 employee range with international expansion Hands-on experience in building frameworks and engaging teams in the development process Familiarity with using AI agents in daily work processes Strong commitment to enhancing workplace culture in a remote environment
