Housing Assistant

Housing Community Assistant Housing Community Assistants (HCAs) are employed to work in the Office of Housing and Residential Education to assist with administrative tasks. Essential duties and responsibilities: Perform administrative tasks. HCAs will work with the Housing Office staff on administrative tasks. This may include lockouts, filing, answering phones, and acting as a referral agent in the Housing Office. Assist with opening and closing procedures. HCAs will assist with key packets, room checks, crowd control, and other move-in related functions. Work as a team member. It is essential that HCAs work closely with each other, the Residence Education team, and other university partners such as food services, maintenance, front desk staff, and public safety. Time commitment and training expectations: HCAs are required to attend all training and should not make flight reservations or other vacation plans that may conflict with training. HCAs will be given specific dates and times for training for personal scheduling/planning purposes. Each HCA will be responsible for a maximum of 10 office hours each week and will work with the Assistant Director for Residential and Housing Operations or their designee to create a schedule. Application requirements: Have lived in an on-campus facility for at least one academic semester and plan to live on campus for the semester in which they are employed Be in good standing with Berklee (academically, community standards, financially, etc.) Maintain a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA Hourly rate: Student Worker 2, $16.97/hour Hiring manager: Holly Delaney
