Branch Manager – Westminister, MD (Full Time; Education: High School/GED) Summary The Branch Manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee safety and satisfaction. The role directs, coordinates, and monitors all branch operations including sales, warehouse, logistics, inventory, finances, facility maintenance, and personnel development activities. Responsibilities Recognize issues, problems, or opportunities and determine action needed; gather, organize, and analyze information to understand problems and opportunities. Generate alternatives and choose appropriate action, formulating clear decision criteria, evaluating options, and implementing decisions with accountability. Delegate effectively, share responsibilities, set guidelines for delegated tasks, and provide coaching and support. Prioritize tasks, establish goals aligned with company values, determine resources, allocate time, and develop timelines and milestones. Leverage resources, stay focused, hold self and others accountable for deadlines, and keep the team updated on progress. Communicate clearly: organize communication, maintain audience attention, adjust to audience needs, ensure understanding, and follow accepted conventions. Develop and promote effective communication skills; present ideas to influence stakeholders and facilitate agreement. Build relationships: foster trust, develop a team environment, treat others with dignity and fairness, and recognize their contributions. Provide instructional support, establish development goals, ensure a learning environment, monitor progress, and lead by example. Manage conflict skills: listen attentively, stay focused on resolution, take positive action, and summarize discussions with clear next steps. Ensure solid understanding and management of sales/marketing, purchasing/inventory, warehouse, finance/credit, and HR/talent functions within the branch. Follow procedures, maintain high-quality output, initiate corrective action when needed, and adhere to Employee Handbook regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/GED required; 3 years of similar experience preferred. Minimum 1 year in a similar position; product/applications experience preferred; wholesale distribution and supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours daily. Physical demands include stooping, squatting, stretching, bending, and lifting to reach inventory items. Work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Benefits Eligible to participate in the Company’s benefits program after 45 days of employment.
