Medical Insurance Collector
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a dedicated team, the full-time Medical Insurance Collector will work from home, managing account follow-up and resolution of insurance and patient receivables while ensuring compliance with productivity standards. Key responsibilities Contact insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims and work through insurance pools Review EOBs, remits, and payer correspondence, escalating issues as necessary for expedited resolution Document actions taken on accounts and collaborate with patients to resolve discrepancies and pending claims Required qualifications Minimum of 1 year of related experience, preferably in healthcare, or relevant education may substitute for experience Previous experience with insurance follow-up is preferred High-speed internet connection (25 MB Download and 15 MB Upload) is required; Wi-Fi is not permitted Able to work uninterrupted during assigned shifts, excluding breaks and lunch
