Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Milwaukee, WI, a company that offers fund administration, compliance, legal administration, fund accounting, fulfillment, distribution and marketing, custody, securities lending, transfer agent and shareholder services, and alternative investment product services. We provide the products and services necessary for fund sponsors to focus on investing while we protect their business interests and minimize risks.Summary:As Transfer Agent, we act as liaison and provide service to over 200 mutual fund/alternative investment companies and their shareholders. We have numerous opportunities for individuals, with excellent multitasking abilities to provide a superior level of service to our growing group of high profile clients and their shareholders. Efficient and detail oriented individuals will be able to showcase their talents and develop long lasting relationships through excellent verbal, and written communications.Responsibilities:

• Accept and process telephone transaction and maintenance requests from institutional level shareholders
• Field shareholder inquiries regarding account setup, prior transactions, fund objectives, and performance
• Provide prompt notification of trade activity to internal and external clients as required
• Serve as point of contact for internal and external clients
• Field inquiries and transaction requests from retail level shareholders as required
• Participate in a culture of continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and employee engagement

Skills

• Degree in Economics or Finance
• Previous license 7 series or Series 63 is a strong plus, but not required
• Investment knowledge in prior work experience, ideally having worked with mutual funds or investment projects personally
• Understanding of mutuals funds, construction of portfolio, and experience with Beta ratings
• Accustomed to the level of communication required with advisers and broker dealers
• Must have a passion for investing
• Consistent attendance and punctuality

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
