Job Title: Mechanical Technician - Winding (2nd Shift, Bartlesville, OK)

About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Technician specializing in stator winding on the 2nd shift (3:30PM - 2:00AM) in Bartlesville, OK. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates seeking a challenging environment, skill development, and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative shop setting.

Responsibilities:

- Build unwound stators by stacking laminations and inserting them using a 100-ton horizontal press
- Straighten stators with a propane/oxygen torch and vertical press; verify straightness with instruments up to 40 lbs
- Wind stators by threading copper magnet wire through laminations; manage wire slots of varying sizes
- Varnish stators using specialized tooling, operate a personal computer, and hang stators in a vertical oven at heights up to 35 feet and temperatures up to 340°F
- Install leads by soldering brush cables to magnet wire; maintain in-house Soldering Certification
- Inspect stators for quality using Manufacturing Process Instructions and blueprints; perform visual and electrical tests
- Build custom switchboards and conduct final testing with 3-phase load testers

Required Skills and Experience:

- Experience with hand tools, air ratchet, drill, conduit binder, and cutting torch
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work at elevated heights (catwalks/ladders up to 35 feet)
- Comfortable working in high-temperature environments
- Proficient in reading blueprints and following detailed manufacturing instructions
- Basic computer skills for varnish tooling operations
- In-house Soldering Certification (can be obtained post-hire)

Preferred Skills:

- Prior experience with load testers and motor test equipment
- Familiarity with electronic meters
- Previous stator winding or switchboard assembly experience
