Maintenance Technician

Multi-Craft Maintenance TechnicianThe Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing installation, repair and maintenance of production and plant equipment. This position routinely performs preventative maintenance and repairs to machinery to ensure proper operation to maximize utilization.Primary ResponsibilitiesPromote a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company policies and safety guidelinesMaintain a professional work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers and managementPerform all preventative maintenance duties and repairs to production equipmentContinuously monitor all company equipment for proper operationRegular safe use of industrial hand tools and shop equipmentComplete all required paperworkPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications3 Year's of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment (with experience in both Mechanical and Electrical)High school diploma or equivalent required, Technical education or training preferredExperience in installation and maintenance of process pipe work for Steam, Water and Compressed air.Working knowledge and experience of industrial power for 3 phase AC circuits, DC circuits, & current protection.Installation of conduit and wiringTroubleshooting/Repair and Maintenance of motors & motor controls including VFDs.Repairs and maintenance of control systems including automated controls using switches, sensors, PLC cards and relays.Computer skills; record all maintenance work in computer based maintenance programClosingThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by employees assigned to this position.
