Bilingual Spanish Line Coordinator

Position Overview The Bilingual Spanish Line Coordinator in Matteson, IL is a critical leadership role responsible for maximizing the operational efficiency of automated production lines. The coordinator serves as the onsite conductor, overseeing frontline operators, preventing bottlenecks through proactive communication with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring production targets are met within a safe disciplined environment. Working Conditions & Compensation 4-on, 4-off rotation schedule with 12‑hour shifts. Day shift: 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM, hourly rate $24.00. Key Responsibilities Attendance & Manpower Allocation: Monitor operator attendance and strategically assign tasks based on skill levels to optimize line flow. Performance Monitoring: Supervise operator work attitudes and real‑time performance; provide immediate onsite coaching and feedback to maintain high productivity. Break Time Management: Ensure operators strictly adhere to designated break schedules to minimize line downtime and maintain operational consistency. PPE Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, verifying all personnel wear required PPE, including safety vests and steel‑toe shoes. SOP Adherence: Monitor and guide operators to ensure all tasks are performed according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Technical & Material Troubleshooting: Act as primary contact when issues arise (material shortages, equipment malfunctions, manpower deficits). Coordinate immediately with Warehouse, Maintenance or external vendors to resolve bottlenecks. Incident Reporting: Immediately escalate significant line issues or safety incidents to upper management according to reporting hierarchy. Qualifications Previous experience in team leading, line coordination, or supervisory roles within a manufacturing environment preferred. Basic understanding of automated production lines and industrial safety standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various departments and vendors. Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and commit to a 4‑day rotation schedule (including nights and weekends). Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse workforce with a firm yet professional approach.
