Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience - BLS & ACLS certifications Description: We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The position requires a commitment of 13 weeks on a day shift from 07:00 to 19:00. This unit has 32 beds and a staffing ratio of 4 or 5 patients per nurse. Typical staff on the day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of Telemetry experience. Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients is preferred but not required. The equipment utilized in this unit includes a GE Telemetry system and the EMR is Meditech. We are looking for outgoing team players who are willing to take initiative. Typical procedures performed in this unit include IV and foley catheter insertion and chest tube removal.
