Epilepsy-trained Neurologist – Albany Medical College The Department of Neurology at Albany Medical College is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to join and expand our growing Epilepsy Division of four other neurologists . Albany Medical Center is the only academic medical center in northeastern New York. As a private, non-profit organization, we provide care to more than 3 million people. Our Neurology Department offers established programs in:

• General Neurology
• Epilepsy
• Dementia / Cognitive Neurology
• Movement disorders
• Neuromuscular disorders
• Pediatric neurology
• Pain and Headache management
• Stroke
• Neurocritical Care
• PM&R

Position Highlights

• Provide patient care in a collaborative environment alongside general and subspecialty neurology colleagues
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, APPs and fellows
• Perform and interpret EEG/cEEG/aEEG studies
• Monitor patients in a 12-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (adults and peds)
• Participate in a strong Epilepsy Surgery Program
• Explore plentiful bench or clinical research opportunities

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology
• Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
• Strong interest in education and mentorship
• Commitment to excellent patient care
