General Outpatient Neurologist

The NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island Department of Neurology is seeking General Outpatient Neurologists join our team. U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals” ranks NYU Langone the No. 1 hospital in the country for neurology and neurosurgery 4 years in a row. NYU Langone’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is among the largest epilepsy treatment programs in the United States. NYU Langone’s Comprehensive Stroke Center has earned the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus and Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus award, which recognizes our consistent compliance with quality measures for treating stroke. The full‑time faculty positions are based at NYU Long Island (Nassau and/or Suffolk counties) in state‑of‑the‑art outpatient facilities. The Neurology Department on Long Island provides high quality care by integrating patient care with a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, including neurologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychiatrists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, nurses and social workers. Participation in community outreach, wellness agenda and educational activities to support program growth is anticipated. Educational duties will include clinical and didactic teaching of medical students, neurology residents and fellows. The Department of Neurology offers opportunities for faculty development through our Faculty Scholars Program (administrative/research/education tracks). In addition, there are several opportunities for clinical and translational research and participation in our QA/QI programs, and wellness agendas. The candidate must be Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology. Epilepsy fellowship and Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship preferred but not required. NYU offers a stimulating work environment.
