Job Position: TIG Welder
Location: Campobello, SC 29322 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Shift: 1stDescription: OpSource has partnered with a machine shop company located in Campobello, SC.
This is a climate-controlled air-conditioned facility Pay for the position:
• $20+/DOE Shifts for the position:
• 1st shift
• 8am-5pm (Flexible) Job requirements for the position may include:
• One to 3 years of hands-on TIG welding and fabrication experience in a shop or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED with technical college welding certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strict adherence to shop safety rules and proper use of PPE. Qualifications for the position:
• Perform TIG welding on various metals and alloys such as stainless steel and aluminum.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols to meet exact customer specifications.
• Clean, fit, and prep metal components using grinders, cutting tools, and measuring devices like calipers or tape measures.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure structural integrity and freedom from defects or warping.
