Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Painter Prep workers for a specialty door manufacturing company in Mankato, MN. In this role, youll help ensure products meet quality finish standards while supporting efficient paint operations in a production environment. Review and understand project specifications and requirements
Inspect materials and perform final preparation before painting
Load and unload paint and paint-related supplies
Ensure color and finish tolerances meet quality standards
Monitor paint and supply inventory levels and notify the Lead when replenishment is needed
Perform quality assurance checks throughout the painting process
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines
1+ years of industrial or auto body painting experience preferred
Ability to frequently lift 2550 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow SOPs, quality standards, and safety practices
Ability to successfully complete respiratory fit testing requirements
Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
