Graphic Designer – Luxury Furniture & Lifestyle Brand

Symbiotic Services is recruiting a Graphic Designer for a client in the luxury furniture and premium home furnishings space . This opportunity is ideal for a designer who understands that luxury is communicated through more than beautiful imagery—it comes through typography, composition, restraint, storytelling, materials, and meticulous attention to detail.

The successful candidate will bring a distinctly elevated, sophisticated visual sensibility and experience designing for luxury furniture, interiors, premium consumer products, luxury retail, or comparable high-end brands .

Portfolio Requirement: Candidates should be prepared to share a portfolio that demonstrates a clear luxury flair and elevated design aesthetic . Portfolios should include relevant work for luxury furniture, interiors, premium products, high-end retail, hospitality, lifestyle, or similarly design-driven brands. The portfolio will be an important component of the selection process.

About the Role

The Graphic Designer will support the development and production of sophisticated brand communications across print and digital channels for a B2B furniture organization.

This role requires someone who can translate creative direction into polished, premium, brand-right creative while also handling the precision and pace of high-volume production work. The designer will help ensure that every customer-facing touchpoint—from a product lookbook or showroom graphic to a digital campaign—reflects the quality, craftsmanship, and elevated positioning expected of a luxury product.

Working closely with the Senior Marketing Project Coordinator and cross-functional partners, this individual will create collateral, point-of-sale materials, event graphics, digital advertising, web and email assets, presentations, reports, and other marketing materials.

The ideal candidate combines strong production expertise with a refined luxury aesthetic , exceptional typography and layout skills, and the ability to maintain visual consistency across an extensive portfolio of products and channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated design concepts and production-ready creative for print and digital channels, from initial concept and layout through final delivery.
  

• Translate brand direction into work that feels premium, elevated, intentional, and appropriate for the luxury furniture and interiors market .
  

• Create and update high-end marketing and sales collateral, including brochures, product sheets, catalogs, lookbooks , specification materials, and other sales tools.
  

• Design point-of-sale collateral and signage for showrooms, premium retail environments, dealers, and trade spaces , considering scale, materials, fabrication, legibility, and installation.
  

• Develop cohesive event design systems and signage for trade shows, furniture markets, product launches, sales meetings, and customer-facing events.
  

• Produce digital advertising assets, including web banners, display advertising, paid social creative, organic social content, and campaign extensions.
  

• Provide light UX/UI support for web initiatives, including landing pages, content modules, icons, wireframes, and responsive graphics.
  

• Support email marketing with premium graphic modules, promotional artwork, product imagery, and template-based designs.
  

• Create polished presentations and reports with sophisticated typography, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
  

• Retouch and color-correct high-quality product and lifestyle photography , including masking, compositing, cleanup, cropping, and image preparation.
  

• Ensure product imagery accurately and attractively represents details such as materials, finishes, textures, color, and craftsmanship .
  

• Build technically accurate production files and mechanicals, including bleeds, color profiles, image resolution, dimensions, packaging, and vendor specifications.
  

• Adapt approved creative across multiple formats and audiences without compromising the elevated aesthetic or core brand concept.
  

• Partner with the Senior Marketing Project Coordinator to manage priorities, timelines, feedback, routing, approvals, and delivery expectations.
  

• Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, merchandising, digital, and external production partners.
  

• Maintain organized working files, version control, naming conventions, and archival practices.
  

• Perform other related duties as required.
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional design experience will also be considered.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of professional graphic design experience in an in-house, agency, production design, or comparable creative environment.
  

• Demonstrated experience creating work with a refined, premium, or luxury visual aesthetic .
  

• A strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated concept development, typography, composition, brand systems, print design, digital design, and production execution.
  

• Candidates must provide a portfolio with a noticeable luxury flair. Work related to luxury furniture, interiors, premium home products, luxury goods, high-end retail, hospitality, architecture, or premium lifestyle brands is especially relevant.
  

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud , particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  

• Working knowledge of Figma and light UX/UI principles.
  

• Strong understanding of print production, including preflight, bleeds, color management, image resolution, large-format graphics, finishing, and vendor specifications.
  

• Understanding of digital requirements across web, display advertising, social media, and email.
  

• Strong photo-retouching skills, particularly for premium product and lifestyle imagery .
  

• Exceptional attention to typography, spacing, alignment, color, imagery, accuracy, and visual consistency.
  

• Ability to interpret creative direction while contributing original design thinking.
  

• Ability to move seamlessly between high-level creative development and detail-intensive production execution .
  

• Ability to manage multiple assignments, revisions, and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  

• Ability to work independently while incorporating feedback constructively.
  

Luxury & Industry Experience

Experience within luxury furniture, high-end interiors, premium consumer products, or luxury goods is strongly preferred .

Candidates coming from adjacent categories such as luxury retail, premium home furnishings, interior design, architecture, hospitality, high-end lifestyle, or other design-led luxury brands may also be well aligned.

Most importantly, the designer must understand the visual language of luxury and be able to demonstrate it through their work. The portfolio should show an ability to create elevated, sophisticated, aspirational creative that complements premium products rather than overpowering them .
