Job Description As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Pasadena, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Security Officer at a higher education location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support students, faculty, staff, and visitors through exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:30 PM - 10:30 PMTue02:30 PM - 10:30 PMWed02:30 PM - 10:30 PMThur02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
