Our company is looking for an experienced Lead Automotive Technician for our Buffalo location located at 1050 Main Street. Van's Auto Service & Tire Pros has been family owned and operated for over 30 years providing 5-star customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Repair or replace faulty components and parts
• Perform necessary repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension and alignments
• Collaborate with the sales team and service department
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust.

• Must be able to lift, carry and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
• Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting

Professional Qualifications:

• Must be proficient with diagnostic testing (CEL, ABS, electrical, drivability issues etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead technician role strongly preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with great attendance.

*All candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR history.

• Optional flat rate pays or hourly pay with efficiency bonuses. $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS PAID INCERMENTALLY AFTER 90 DAYS.
