Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.As a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one—helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity—all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.WHAT YOU’LL DOLead investigations into sophisticated cyber threats and shape defensive actions that protect the critical technology environment at the firmServe as incident commander for high or critical incidents by coordinating response actions, driving timely decisions, and keeping stakeholders alignedAnalyze and correlate security telemetry, log data, and threat intelligence to identify malicious activity and determine organizational impactDevelop threat intelligence reports that explain findings, mitigations, confidence levels, and implications for security operationsCreate dashboards and visualizations that help security teams detect patterns, prioritize risks, and improve response decisionsHunt for advanced adversary activity by applying analytics, network diagrams, and system knowledge to identify hidden threatsPartner with development teams to define requirements and enhancements for security capabilities, analytics, and operational toolsDocument investigative findings and lessons learned to continually strengthen detection logic, response procedures, and security tradecraftBrief technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership on active threats, incident status, and recommended actionsWHAT’S REQUIRED10+ years of experience in intelligence, information security, network forensics, insider threat, or security operationsSpecific understanding of key global threat areas affecting financial institutions, advanced persistent threats, and cyber actor motives and actionsExperience with Splunk and creating visualizations and dashboards for security monitoring and investigationsExceptional ability to analyze, correlate, and synthesize threat data from diverse sources into clear investigative conclusionsProven ability to perform log file analysis and produce threat intelligence reports covering findings, mitigations, and confidence levelsExtensive experience applying advanced analytics, network diagrams, and related knowledge to understand systems, networks, environments, and adversariesAbility to work with development teams and clearly articulate requirements and enhancements for security capabilities and toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations for technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to document findings and create detailed reports that help keep security tradecraft currentWE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLEWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
