Senior Payroll Associate

Are you a payroll professional looking to bring your expertise to an exciting, fast-paced media and entertainment environment? We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist for an engaging 6-month onsite opportunity where you can directly impact high-volume operations and drive continuous process improvements! In this role, you will lead key payroll initiatives, including managing stock transaction processing, evaluating taxable fringe benefits, and ensuring seamless compliance with FLSA along with California, federal, state, and local wage regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline automated time tracking systems and manage wage assignments, garnishments, and levies. salary: $35.5 - $45.68 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Perform all duties necessary to ensure timely and accurate processing of multi-state, multi-company bi-weekly and weekly payrolls for non-union salary, hourly, and freelance employees in accordance with employee agreements (if applicable) and in compliance with policies and federal, state, and local regulations Perform detailed pre-payroll processing audits of earnings, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax setups to prevent pay-impacting errors when payroll is processed Process on demand payments, retroactive payments, one-time payments, taxable fringe benefits, tax adjustments, equity-based compensation, stop payments, voided checks, direct deposit reversals, and overpayment collections in accordance with employee agreements (if applicable) and in compliance with policies, federal, state, and local regulations Skills Payroll Processing Qualifications Years of experience: 0 years Experience level: Experienced Experience Experienced Education Bachelors Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
