Strivector's premier client, a well-known market leader in their space, is hiring for the following full-time direct-hire position.Position OverviewAs a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer, your roles and responsibilities will include:Perform electronics design involving digital, analog, power, and mixed-signal circuits.Develop schematics, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and design concepts.Create design review packages and present circuit designs during peer reviews.Develop test plans and procedures for circuit validation.Translate system-level requirements into detailed hardware implementations.Lead hardware/software/FPGA system integration activities.Support project planning, design reviews, production releases, and customer reviews.Conduct trade studies evaluating technical, cost, and schedule considerations.Design, build, and test mixed-signal low-voltage current driver boards.Develop microcontroller-based hardware and perform embedded C programming/debugging.Design stepper motor control circuits.Own development activities from cradle to grave.QualificationsMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer who enjoys your work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many of the following:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.6+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal electronics.Experience with Altium, Xpedition, Cadence ConceptHDL, OrCAD, PADS Layout, SPICE, or Mentor Graphics.Experience with microcontroller-based board design.Embedded C programming and debugging experience.Experience with circuit design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.FPGA, communications systems, electro-optics, or aerospace/defense experience is a plus.Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.Strong communication and presentation skills.We understand that even if you are a seasoned Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer, you may not have all the skills listed here.
