Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule: 32-hour evening shift, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend and holiday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Contract

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• ACLS upon hire or must hold an active BLS card and obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire
• 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred
• 1 year Telemetry experience preferred
• 1 year Pediatrics experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care plans.
• Provide patient care according to established standards and protocols.
• Offer education and support to patients and families based on identified needs.
• Collaboratively plan for patient discharge, incorporating necessary resources.
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely in accordance with policies.
• Document patient information and care details accurately and promptly.
