Details Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab/Electrophysiology unit Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) Call shifts required on weekends and during the week Floating between sister facilities may be required Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active CA RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 5 years of Cath Lab/EP nursing experience required Trauma Level II hospital experience required Epic EMR experience required Proficiency in cardiac cath lab and EP procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, pacemaker insertion, and LAA closure Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring, procedural sedation, and vascular closure systems Experience administering cardiac and emergency medications, including antiarrhythmics and thrombolytics 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and EP procedures Support physicians during complex procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and rotablator atherectomy Assist with vascular access, IV therapy, and central line management Perform patient monitoring and safety checks throughout procedures including EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia management Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer for consideration Local candidates accepted at standard bill rate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility unless applying as a local candidate Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility First-time travelers are not preferred for this role These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
