Human Resource Generalist Job Description:

PrideStaff is partnering with a large manufacturing company who is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join their team. The Human Resource Generalist brings excellent knowledge of HR policies and procedures to develop talent, provide employee training, performance evaluation, and rewards to our employees. The ideal Human Resource Generalist has multiple years of HR experience, brings clear leadership to our team with hiring new talent, developing existing and new employees, as well as continued knowledge and training of federal, local, and state laws. The Human Resource Generalist position is a full time, direct hire position in Fridley, MN.

Human Resource Generalist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Spearhead Staffing, Employee Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation as Well as Rewards & Recognition
• Hold to All Federal, State, & Local Laws & Regulations
• Assist With Performance Appraisals, Behavior Correction, & Employee Leadership and Development Programs Across The Organization
• Research Job Market Data, Pay, & Compensation Assessments & Advise Leadership With Salary, Wage, Benefits, & Recommend Changes to Positions
• Ensure a Positive Employee Work Environment With Strong Leadership at All Levels
• Represent The Company as a Visible, Approachable, & Professional HR Practitioner; Fostering Employee Engagement & Address Issues With Professionalism
• Work With Management to Resolve Employee Relations & Concerns in a Timely, Consistent, & Responsive Manner
• Respond to Complex Questions & Concerns Regarding Human Resource Programs & Services Promptly
• Manage & Coordinate Performance Management Processes
• Ensure Job Descriptions & Career Paths Are Evaluated & Updated Regularly
• Conduct Exit Interviews & Provide Reports & Analysis For Program Development & Modification
• Coordinate Employee Benefits & Assistance Programs
• Assist With Corporate Compliance Programs, Including, But Not Limited to EEO, OSHA Reporting Requirements
• Complete Additional Projects & Responsibilities as Assigned

Human Resource Generalist Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 2+ Years of Human Resources Experience With a Strong Knowledge of HR Principles & Practices
• Experience With Full HR Life Cycle Competencies, Including Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation, Training, & Development
• Provide Corporate Training on Various HR Topics Such as Respect in The Workplace & Effective Interviewing Skills
• Must be Able to Interpret Federal, State, & Local Laws & Regulations
• Demonstrates Excellent Computer Skills With Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Dayforce, ATS, & ICIMs
• Demonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills & Able to Work in a Fast Paced Environment
• Delivers Excellent Leadership Skills Across Multiple Cultures Within The Company
• Demonstrates Strong Project Management, Organizational, Analytical, & Presentation Skills
• Must be Adaptable & Flexible, Working Under Pressure to Meet Deadlines & Changing Priorities
• Handle Sensitive & Confidential Information With a High Level of Professionalism & Integrity
• Must be Able to Work Independently & With a Team
• Find & Support Opportunities For Improvement & Implementation of Best Practices
