Hi-lo Driver

Hi-lo Driver Position

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Hi-lo driver to join the team at our long-term client in Orion Township. We are seeking a long-term, dedicated associate to assist in the warehouse.

Schedule:

The schedule for the position will be 6 am to 2 pm, Monday-Friday. If OT is required, it will mean staying after 2 PM.

Payrate:

Payrate will be $18-$20 an hour, depending on experience. Will need to show proof of being HiLo certified.

Essential duties include:

• Prepares parts to be delivered to Oxus based on need and stock level.
• Completes deliveries to and from both Oxus facilities.
• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and organized.
• Promotes a clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Escalates issues to the manager and recommends potential solutions.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance on all equipment at the warehouse.
• Performs inventory cycle counting daily.

• Ability to lead by example, gain respect from the team, and communicate clearly across all departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time.

Qualified applicants:

• High school diploma, 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be trained and possess a Fork Truck license.
• Must hold and maintain a good vehicle driving record.
• Computer Skills: Word processing, spreadsheets, email, inventory, and manufacturing software a plus.
• Must be an employee in good standing (reliable attendance, no performance issues, etc.), positive attitude, and ready to take on a new challenge!
