Senior Marketing Specialist

This is a hands-on senior marketing role focused on building and optimizing high-impact member communications across the customer lifecycle.
You will own email marketing while contributing across lifecycle, product, promotional, and automated marketing programs.
Your work will directly influence engagement, conversion, retention, and the overall member experience through data-driven campaigns.
You will use segmentation, personalization, testing, and performance analysis to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
The role combines strategic thinking with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
You will collaborate remotely with sales, operations, product, and other teams across different time zones.
This is an opportunity for a proactive marketer to leverage modern marketing automation and AI-enabled tools while helping shape innovative travel experiences.

Accountabilities

• Create, launch, manage, and optimize automated and promotional email campaigns using Marketo and content management systems.
• Own lifecycle marketing journeys covering member onboarding, engagement, retention, re-engagement, and other key stages of the customer experience.
• Develop compelling member communications supporting product launches, new offerings, promotions, and commercial initiatives.
• Execute high-volume promotional campaigns within tight deadlines while maintaining strong quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Develop and apply segmentation strategies based on member preferences, demographics, behaviors, and other relevant audience characteristics.
• Build personalized communications that improve relevance and engagement across different member segments.
• Use marketing automation capabilities to streamline campaign workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze results and trends, and translate insights into actionable optimization opportunities.
• Design and implement testing strategies to evaluate messaging, audiences, content, and campaign approaches, using results to drive continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify underperforming campaigns and develop solutions without waiting for direction.
• Partner with sales, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent customer journeys and coordinated marketing execution.
• Leverage AI-enabled marketing tools for content development, audience analysis, campaign optimization, and improved decision-making.
• Stay current with marketing best practices, emerging technologies, industry trends, and evolving customer engagement strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of marketing experience with a strong understanding of modern marketing principles, best practices, and industry trends.
• Significant hands-on experience in email marketing, which is the core focus of this position.
• Demonstrated experience across several areas including lifecycle marketing, product marketing, promotional marketing, and marketing automation.
• 2–5 years of experience using Marketo or comparable marketing automation platforms is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to use campaign data and performance insights to guide decisions.
• Experience with segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, campaign optimization, and performance measurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective email content.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills, particularly within distributed or remote teams.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with demanding turnaround times.
• Strong initiative, ownership, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
• Comfortable working independently while remaining highly collaborative across teams and time zones.
• Demonstrated willingness to adopt AI and emerging marketing technologies to improve productivity, content quality, audience understanding, and campaign performance.
• Experience in the travel, hospitality, or cruise industry is a plus.
